Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process through which the experience, skills and knowledge that you already have can be converted to nationally recognised qualification. RPL means that you don’t have to sit in a classroom and learn about things that you already know.
The assessment will be in alignment with the rules of evidence as determined by the Vocational Education Training (VET) industry regulatory body, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
The student will need to collate and coordinate evidence to show they have sufficient, valid and current knowledge and skills equivalent to the qualification.
You can RPL most of the units if you have day in day out good substantial experience to prove your competency.
